Too many questions, endless contradictions, and a mixture of happiness and agony

The idea of Noah’s arc is one of the most childish and ridiculous ideas of all times. It even mocks the religion itself.
It’s even lousy (and somewhat sadistic) for a bedtime story.
You hand-pick a bunch of animals in couples, (which later each couple becomes an Adam and Eve story in the animal kingdom) and they go through the storm peacefully and quietly.
Flood is everywhere and the ship must be bigger than USS JFK to fit all those creatures and escape the storm. A big ship, a perfect design, and yet no single teeny tiny piece of evidence for this miraculous marvel.
The only myth to be able to justify this legend, is miracle. I don’t understand why somebody should break his own rules (laws of physics, etc.) to impress some silly followers. The rules that he himself spent time and effort to make to impress the same silly people at the first place.
I would believe Transformers easier.
